1. Iceland
Iceland, an Atlantic island nation located in the Nordics, is defined by volcanoes and glaciers, giving rise to its moniker of “The Land of Fire and Ice.”

2. Morocco
Morocco can deliver thrills for thrill-seekers looking to experience extreme sports, from cliff camping (sleeping suspended from midair on a sheer mountain face or canyon!) to hiking, kayaking and surfing as well as visiting local wineries. One popular form is known as “cliff sleeping.” Another exciting activity involves sleeping suspended midair from an exposed ledge on an extreme mountain face or canyon! Norway is an ideal place for practicing adventure sports, especially during wintertime. Additionally, Ekstrem Sport Veko hosts one of the world’s biggest extreme sports competitions each year, drawing competitors from around the globe who compete in activities such as rapids kayaking, wingsuit flying and free fall skateboarding.
Tasmania is another top location for extreme sports enthusiasts, offering many water activities including kayaking and rafting. South Africa’s Bloukrans Bridge hosts the world’s highest commercial bridge bungee jump – visitors take the plunge over 216 metres!
